Dr Yusof Mutahar MBBS (UWA), FRACGP
Dr Yusof Mutahar is an Australian Doctor and General Practitioner with interest in all aspects of Medicine and General Practice.
Dr Yusof Mutahar was born on the 18th March 1990, in Perth, Western Australia. He graduated from Hale School in 2007 and pursued his Medical training at the University of Western Australia.
Dr Yusof Mutahar completed his medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Western Australia in 2013, at the age of 23. Furthermore Dr Yusof Mutahar obtained his specialisation in General Practice (FRACGP) from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018, at the age of 28. He has completed further training in Cosmetic Medicine and Surgery. Prior to becoming a General Practitioner, he worked at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus.
In 2019, Dr Yusof Mutahar co-founded his Cosmetics Skin care line called Dr Yusof Cosmetics. Furthermore he has developed his own medical clothes brand, Dr Yusof Scrubs.
Dr Yusof Mutahar has published three medical books, ECG simplified by Dr Yusof Mutahar, Secondary Causes of Hypertension in General Practice by Dr Yusof Mutahar and An Approach to Hypercalcaemia in General Practice. He has also been involved in medical education and teaching of new doctors and medical students. Outside of medicine, Dr Yusof Mutahar is a black belt and has successfully competed in Judo on a National and State level. His hobbies include surfing and horse riding. He is married and is blessed with two daughters. Apart from English he speaks fluent Dari, Pashto and Farsi.
